An Emmy-winning celebrity just made a huge claim he would easily conquer President Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
Many critics weren’t certain if he was joking or being serious, but it sure sounds like he might have a few hints in his back pocket in order to run for President.
His critics certainly will not vote for him, but when Alec Baldwin really thinks he has a chance, then he might put his money where his mouth is and input the approaching election in 2020.
Baldwin was talking to radio host Howard Stern and basically said it’d be a guaranteed success for himself if he ran. That may not be true because no one is guaranteed a victory in any election, but his large claims sure sparked a serious response from social media and the commentators.
Stern joked while dressed as Donald Trump that Baldwin should run for president in 2020. That would certainly be entertaining, but unsure of the number of votes it would collect due to it mocking the election in general. It could be a grand publicity stunt, but is that which the common people want to turn their election into? That could just prove to be seen in the election itself.
Is he interested in running against Trump? Even if he did it to get his name in the media, does he actually think he has a chance against any candidates?
Fox News reported more on Baldwin’s latest gimmick that could turn into a reality:
“Emmy-winning actor Alec Baldwin said Monday he would easily win against President Donald Trump if he’d run in the 2020 presidential elections.
“If I ran, I’d win,” Baldwin told Howard Stern during a discussion on his Sirius XM radio show about the potential candidates in the next presidential election, the Daily Beast reported.
“I would absolutely triumph.
Stern then suggested Baldwin to conduct”for president Donald Trump” — to which Baldwin repeated himself stating that he would not have any issue wining against the current president.
“When I ran for president, I would win. Hands down, I’d win,” he said. “It would be the funniest, most enjoyable, craziest campaign.”
This isn’t the first time Baldwin joked about his capacity to shoot on Trump or his suitability to be the president.
“Can I think I’d be a good president? “To run for office is something that I want to do,” he added, but noted that running”doesn’t appear to be practical with my lifestyle and my children.”
Before that, he also tweeted a mysterious message, saying:”If I run for a President, consider how entertaining that the debates would be.”
The Emmy-winning actor, who won the prestigious award for his portrayal of Trump on”Saturday Night Live,” insisted on Stern’s show he’s joking about his conduct because”people do not actually have a feeling yet” of who’s going to shoot on Trump at another election.
“Someone great will come up, I hope,” he said. “I would love to run for that sort of position to simply have things be quite common sense. There are so many things this nation needs to do which are so obvious.”
Baldwin went on to assert in the meeting that, based on his multiple resources, First Lady Melania Trump enjoys his impression of her husband and watches the clips of this series online. “She must understand what a maniac he is,” Baldwin said.”
We might need to wait and see exactly what Baldwin’s true goals are. What is your opinion of this? What do you think will occur? Write your answers below!
